Translators

HCL Translation translators are native English speakers who have all been long term residents in France. We have a high level of proficiency in French and English with first-hand knowledge of life, culture and administration in France and in English-speaking countries.

We are qualified linguists with French language honours degrees and translation qualifications. Qualifications include:

Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Modern Languages (French and German) and Political Studies

Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in French

Postgraduate Diploma in Translation Studies

Master of Arts in Translation and Interpreting Studies

NZSTI

Our translators are all members of the New Zealand Society for Translators and Interpreters.

NZSTI is a professional organisation whose members must have an approved qualification in translation above the minimum required grade. HCL Translation abides by the NZSTI Code of Ethics.

Location

We are a translation company based in Auckland, New Zealand, but we do translate for clients throughout the world.

New Zealand time zone is GMT+12 April - September or GMT+13 September - April. This enables us to work while you sleep if you are located in Europe. You can send us your document at the end of your day, and the translation can be ready in your inbox by the time you get up.*
